Since our establishment in 1999, we have continued to grow strategically, leveraging our engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
At our headquarters campus in Ankara, spanning over 80,000 m² and including offices, multiple indoor and outdoor production areas, an R&D center, and a testing laboratory, we deliver the best services, products, and solutions across all areas of energy. Through our offices and facilities in the Netherlands, Macedonia, Iraq, Morocco, Algeria, and Ukraine, our engineers and personnel bring our products and services to 80 countries across 5 continents, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Our free zone company in Istanbul Tuzla provides a significant advantage in international trade, adding substantial value to our country’s exports. TURNKEY CONTRACTING
Our group undertakes the construction of a wide range of energy facilities and electrical projects worldwide, with a focus on renewable energy power plants and high-voltage substations, providing turnkey solutions. We manage every stage of projects—from design to construction, from testing and commissioning to operation and maintenance—using our own engineering teams and capabilities.
We execute diverse projects including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, geothermal, and natural gas power plants, as well as high-voltage substations and electrical distribution systems. In addition, we handle electrification of various infrastructure, industrial, and superstructure projects, installation of power distribution systems, power compensation, automation, and SCADA projects. With our expert engineers, we provide comprehensive turnkey solutions, positioning ourselves as a leading international player in the energy sector.
As one of the leading companies in renewable energy, we have constructed over 1,000 MW of solar power plants entirely in-house, both domestically and internationally, and provided installation, products, and systems for over 2,500 MW as a subcontractor. Beyond conventional solar projects, we deliver innovative installations including rooftop car park systems, floating solar plants, solar tracking systems, and grid-scale energy storage solutions, pioneering renewable energy technologies across the globe.
For solar projects, we successfully execute projects financed not only by private and public clients but also by major international institutions such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Notably, we served as the electrical construction contractor for one of the world’s largest solar power plants—the 1,300 MW YEKA-1 project in Konya Karapınar—playing a critical role for investors, stakeholders, the sector, and our country.
In wind energy, another major locomotive of renewable energy today, we are among the leading contractors in Turkey and the region. We have completed turnkey delivery of over 3,500 MW of wind power plants, securing our leadership in Turkey. As a trusted partner of the world’s leading turbine manufacturers, we have installed over 35% of Turkey’s wind energy capacity and established our presence as a key player internationally.
We have also successfully completed hundreds of high-voltage substations, primarily in Turkey but also internationally, becoming one of the region’s most prominent substation contractors. Notable international projects include Africa’s largest substation in Oran, Algeria, and the new substation in Marrakech, Morocco.
In addition to our engineering and construction capabilities, our manufacturing power allows us to deliver highly reliable turnkey solutions for TEİAŞ, domestic private investors, and international public and private clients, establishing us as a leading contractor in the region.
Furthermore, we execute diverse electrification projects for infrastructure and superstructure, power compensation, and electrical distribution systems. Through our automation and SCADA teams, we also provide comprehensive hardware and software solutions for smart energy management, control, and monitoring, successfully serving numerous key investors both domestically and internationally.

With a team of experienced and qualified engineers, technicians, and workers, we manufacture and supply high, medium, and low voltage products and systems used in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and control. All of our products are produced in accordance with international quality standards, undergo type tests in European laboratories, and are designed and manufactured to meet the standards and specifications of various countries, serving numerous projects worldwide.

SALES, MARKETING & SUPPLY
At Girişim Elektrik, we leverage the extensive international engineering, contracting, manufacturing, sales, and marketing experience accumulated over years in the sector, along with our high level of industrial and commercial expertise, to build successful partnerships and collaborations with numerous leading international companies across various industries.
Today, our inventory and stock management system functions as a material bank, where over 9,000 different products and more than 30,000 electrical and electromechanical items are supplied from a single source using a “just-in-time” approach. Through this capability, we provide sales, marketing, and supply chain services to more than 80 countries worldwide.
TESTING & COMMISSIONING SERVICES
To ensure long-term system reliability and continuity of energy, our expert teams provide comprehensive testing and commissioning services for our own energy facilities, for projects where we supply products and systems, and for clients requesting our services. These services aim to prevent initial errors, avoid future malfunctions, and verify proper system installation.
Equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art testing equipment, our experienced field engineers and qualified technicians deliver testing, inspection, and calibration services for the world’s most complex electrical generation, transmission, and distribution systems to help clients maintain system reliability.
Additionally, at our headquarters, our internationally accredited high-voltage test laboratory performs over 160 tests, including lightning impulse tests up to 1,200 kV on equipment rated up to 245 kV. Through type testing and routine testing, we provide a broad range of accredited laboratory services to both public and private clients.
